Job Description

Our family dental practice in Mt. Washington (15 minutes south of Louisville), Bullitt County Kentucky, is seeking a chair side dental assistant. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people and is comfortable in a chair side dental setting. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to build relationships with our exceptional team.
The position is Full Time Monday through Thursday 8am – 5pm and every other Friday from 8am – 2pm. As a valued team member, the main role of the dental assistant is to provide exceptional patient care.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist the doctor chair side with patient care
Review patient chart and prepare for dental appointment operator setup
Ability to take radiographs with digital sensors
Track incoming/outgoing lab cases
Assist with ordering dental supplies
Schedule appointments
Be organized, reliable, punctual, and work as a team with others

Required Experience:

High School Diploma
Current Radiography Certification
CPR Certification

Desired Experience:

1+ Year in a medical or dental environment
Previous dental experience charting or utilizing radiographs
Expanded duty experience highly desired
