Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our private, general dental practice here in Kannapolis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Administer anesthesia and manage pain control during procedures.
Execute dental extractions and other surgical interventions as necessary.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit using Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during all procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience in performing oral surgery, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, dental extractions and dental implants is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
We have been here 12 years, one owner Dr that is looking to step back a day. We are looking to expand services for patients. Looking for a doctor that is comfortable placing implants as this is something we currently do not offer patients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $750.00 per day
