Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in dental assisting practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental clinic environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Coordinate patient flow within the clinic.
Support pediatric dentistry practices by creating a welcoming environment for young patients.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Knowledge of Dental software for managing patient records is highly desirable.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Pay: $12.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 â 28 per week
