InterCare is searching for a full-time Dentist to join our team in Holland! Work Schedule:
Hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with occasional late patient activity. Days and work schedule may vary due to business need.
Primary Accountability
Responsible for the provision of high quality, comprehensive, patient centered primary oral health care to InterCareâs target populations.
Description of Primary Responsibilities
Provides efficient and effective patient care according to adopted clinical standards relevant to the appropriate scope of licensure and certification.
Meets daily productivity targets; 12 patients in an 8 hour day.
Meets patient satisfaction expectations and established peer review outcomes.
Meets documentation standards in EHR/EDR.
Strives to maintain cost-effective practice patterns related to treatment plan completion.
Completes inbox/portal items within designated timeframe.
Participates constructively as a clinical team member.
Communicates readily with InterCareâs CEO and CDO on matters of shared concern and provides input on pending matters upon request.
Meets staff satisfaction expectations.
Communicates openly with partners and site manager regarding schedules, time off requests, and related coverage issues.
Supervises support staff as assigned according to Michigan practice requirements.
Engages in practice improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

Professional and Technical Knowledge:
DMD or DDS degree with current license to practice as a dentist in Michigan.
All other LIP Credentialing and privileging requirements.
Thorough working knowledge of prevailing standards of dental care, InterCareâs dental clinical guidelines, patient care policies and procedures, and applicable accreditation standards.
Thorough working knowledge of dental coding and documentation requirements.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, frequently sit, and lift up to 25 lbs
Requires good hand-eye coordination, reach with arms & hands, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and manipulate dental instruments and equipment (using keyboard, office equipment)
Visual acuity to use keyboard, operate office equipment, and read printed material and regularly required to talk and hear.
