Are you a skilled Dental Assistant looking to join a dynamic and health minded team? Or, are you not yet trained and experienced in dentistry, but have a passion for helping others in improving their health and life and want to learn on-the-job? We have a place for both of you!
Dr. Larry Hanus is seeking a dedicated individual to join our practice in providing top-notch Holistic Dental Care to our patients.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform chairside clinical assisting during dental procedures.
Train to take x-rays.
Assist with patient charting and treatment planning.
Prepare and sterilize instruments.
Provide support for various dental procedures including dentures, crowns, and oral surgery.
Greet patients.
Train to independently take state of the art computerized scans of teeth for various dental appliances. and procedures, including Invisalign.
Train for advanced and expanded dental assistant certification.
Learn phone, communication and receptionist skills.

If you are not certified, this job leads to the same Iowa state certification of a typical 1.5 year formal technical school program which would cost thousands of dollars in tuition .
You will be paid hourly during on-the-job training while learning to become certified.
