General Dentist / Associate Opportunity
Location: Apollo Beach, FL and Riverview, FL
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time; 1-4 days/week
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Compensation: $750/day or 30% collections
We are a family owned private practice (PPO and FFS) with our second location in Riverview, FL. We are seeking a FT/PT dentist with excellent communication and clinical skills to join our professional team! Ideal candidates are confident in all phases of dentistry and committed to the highest level of patient care. Our dentist must be able to provide a full range of services to patients of almost any age. You can expect a steady flow of new patients. The office has a high volume of crown and bridge, RCT, cosmetic and implant restorations in addition to removable appliances. We have a great referral base with local specialists. Those qualified and seeking a long-term career in a family-owned practice are encouraged to apply.
Practice Features
The office will have all the latest technologies in dentistry: Handheld x-ray unit, Planmeca CBCT (Lowest dose in market), WaveOne gold system, iTero digital scanner, SprintRay 3D printing, HuFriedy cassettes for organization, Dexis sensors, intraoral cameras, iPads for patients paperwork/consents, completely digital workflow and nitrous oxide. We'll have 3 40â TVâs in EACH of our 7 ops to help engage the patient with the doctorsâ diagnosis and to help ease any anxiety that may be associated with their dental visit (cable & Netflix equipped). We are in a busy shopping plaza with great visibility and traffic. Monthly digital marketing and direct mailers are also sent to ensure a full schedule. Responsibilities
Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients.
Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health.
Communicate with dental staff on our team regarding patient treatment plans.
Requirements:
DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
MUST have a current, valid license (in good standing) to practice dentistry in the state of Florida
Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.
Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.
Good management skills.
