Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to our patients while ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards. This role is essential in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental care practices.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary choices, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Perform dental assessments, including taking vital signs and medical imaging as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the management of the dental clinicâs operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining inventory of dental supplies.
Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient management and documentation.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Familiarity with documentation review processes in a dental office setting.
Experience with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Proficient in using dental office software systems, preferably Dentrix and Dexis
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
