We are seeking someone for a Tuesday through Thursday assistant position. What are you waiting for??
Duties:
- Assisting with dental procedures, sterilizing, telephoning patients, turning over rooms after procedures, ordering supplies
- Reviewing medical history and taking vital signs
- Taking digital dental x-rays
- Performing dental charting and updating patient records accurately
- Following strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality
Skills:
- Proficiency in Dentrix
- Thorough understanding of infection control protocols
- EXCELLENT communication skills, with the ability to educate and motivate patients
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited dental assistant program
- CPR certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 â 27 per week
