Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment alongside experienced dental professionals.
Responsibilities:
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments.
Conduct comprehensive oral assessments and charting.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options.
Take and develop dental x-rays.
Assist the dentist during procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Valid state license to practice dental hygiene.
Successful completion of an accredited dental hygiene program.
CPR certification.
Proficiency in using dental software and digital x-ray systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Attention to detail and commitment to providing quality care.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
