Job Description
We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our Team! We are looking for someone who has a passion for health care and has experience and technical skills. You will be introducing new patients to the practice, assisting with dental procedures including implant placement, root canals and standard bread and butter.
Other job duties include: Supply ordering and organization. Sterilization of dental instruments. Assists the doctor, teaches the patients how to care for their teeth and oral appliances, communicates effectively with patients and/or parents, maintains equipment and inventory, and follows universal precautions and all OSHA requirements. Follows office protocol by maintaining a safe workplace for employees and contractors; maintaining the hazardous chemicals labeling system; adhering to infection control protocol, and the management of all aspects of infectious and/or hazardous waste. Facilitates the work flow and patient flow, patient safety / patient education and participation in treatment acceptance by patients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
