VISION
The Scheduling/Treatment Coordinator is most likely the first voice a patient hears on the phone, our ideal candidate should possess excellent phone skills and be able to handle multiple phone lines with confidence and professionalism. The Scheduling/Treatment Coordinatorâs main responsibility is to clearly explain treatment options and related costs to the patient and will be responsible for coordinating a treatment plan with the doctor and presenting it to the patient along with being knowledgeable about the treatment, timelines and to negotiate financial arrangements with the patient. The Scheduling/Treatment Coordinator may also be responsible for some internal accounting duties that support the practiceâs goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience in the dental field and knowledge of ADA codes is mandatory.
Youâll be an important member of the office, helping patients to gain a greater understanding of their treatment and their dental plans. Youâll help them manage the financial commitments associated with their care, along with any future appointments they may need to manage their dental health.
Youâll also be:
Effectively communicating treatment plans, and any changes in treatment plans
Answering questions related to treatment plans to get approval on services
Coordinating insurance benefits and making financial arrangements, including verifying insurance options and limitations
Booking appointments, answering general questions, and offering other associated support
