Job Description
Newton Street Dental is a beautiful practice. Newly renovated and equipped with all of the bells and whistles . We are not heavily involved in insurance. We are looking for a general dentist to join our team. The office is open M-F and your schedule could be customized. We have two doctors and three hygienists. Patients can receive total dental care in our office. We have a beautiful surgical suite. We offer full mouth reconstruction and perform implant surgery almost daily.
Compensation varies based on production and the types of procedures completed. Further details can be discussed within a phone call or in person discussion.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients- Administer anesthetics to patients as necessary- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals- Collaborate with dental hygienists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive oral healthcare- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records- Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses
Qualifications:- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school- Valid state dental license in good standing- Knowledge of dental systems and software, such as Dentrix- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and interpretation- Understanding of human anatomy as it relates to oral health
