Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental services. This role involves working in a collaborative environment where you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, ensuring the highest standards of infection control, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to determine patient needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, dental extractions, and other treatments as required.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using Epic software while ensuring confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care in a supportive environment.
Uphold strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Experience
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices.
Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Epic, is advantageous.
Strong understanding of infection control procedures and adherence to safety standards within the dental office environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
