Dental Hygienist Wanted â Privately Owned, Out-of-Network Dental Office

Position Details:
32 hours per week â Monday through Thursday, plus one Saturday per month
60-minute appointments for regular patients and 90 minutes for new patients
Emphasis on patient education and quality care â no rushing!

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, focusing on maintaining optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient medical records accurately, including vital signs and treatment plans.
Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining aseptic technique throughout treatments.
Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, adapting approaches to meet their unique needs.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that align with patients' health goals.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in patient care and aseptic techniques.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental management systems is preferred.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently.
Familiarity with general dentistry procedures and assisting techniques is desirable.

Pay: $52.49 - $56.00 per hour
