Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Dental Assistant/Office Manager/ Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of dental office procedures, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role is crucial in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of service.
Duties
Manage the front office operations, including scheduling appointments, patient check-in/out, and handling billing inquiries.
Supervise and train dental receptionists and assistants to ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage dental imaging systems.
Type 35 words a minute and be familiar with microsoft office Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Implement Osha and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide quality care, particularly in the clinical and surgical dentistry setting.
Ensure that the office is equipped with necessary supplies and that all equipment is properly maintained.
Handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally, fostering a positive experience for all visitors.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in dental care.
Skills
Proficiency in managing a dental environment, with experience in a clinical and surgical dentistry setting being highly desirable.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix for managing patient records and scheduling.
Strong understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in dental assisting roles is preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 â 50 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
