Job Description
**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and dental health, along with the necessary skills to support our dental practice. **Responsibilities:** - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - Set up and breakdown operatory rooms pre and post-treatment - Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) - Manage patient records and documentation - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols - Perform various office tasks as needed **Experience:** The ideal candidate should possess some or all of the following skills: - Knowledge of medical terminology and systems - Experience as a dental receptionist - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques - Background in pediatric dentistry is a plus - Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software - Ability to take and process X-rays - Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures - Competence in medical documentation This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice environment where teamwork and patient care are paramount.
