Currently hiring for Full-time:
Monday - Thursday rotating schedule, 10:30am - 7:30pm 3x/week, 7am - 4pm 1x/week
Saturdays 7am - 3pm 4x/month - paid shift differential for Saturdays!
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and equipped with the required tools.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Manage infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Utilize dental software, such as Dentrix, for scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Support pediatric dentistry practices by providing compassionate care to young patients.
Assist with prosthodontics procedures as necessary.
Stay updated on medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to general dentistry.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Familiarity with medical terminology and infection control practices.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Experience with 3D scanners is a plus.
Understanding of general dentistry principles, including pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics.
Ability to maintain accurate medical records efficiently.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix is preferred.
