Casas Adobes Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is looking for a FullTime skilled oral surgery assistant for our Northwest location with oral surgery experience. This full time position would need open availability Monday through Friday.
An ideal candidate for us would be one who is enthusiastic, hardworking, and willing to provide the highest quality of care to our patients in a safe and efficient manner. We are proud of what we do and would like to share our experience with you! Oral Surgery experience is preferred but not required. Compensation is very competitive and structured based on experience in the industry.
Dental Assistant Duties:
Performance of a variety of general oral surgery assistant duties that include, but not limited to the following:
- Assist during office procedures
- Patient management (greet and escort patients to the appropriate rooms, assist with chart information review, take vital signs and clinical information, patient education, patient discharge)
- Act as the anesthesia assistant by supporting the airway and monitoring
- Take Radiographs (PA’s, Panorex, CBCT)
- Make preoperative and post-operative phone calls
- Instrument sterilization, maintenance, and tray set-up
- Understanding and operating medical gases
- Monitor surgical supply inventory
Dental Assistant Qualifications:
- Caring and compassionate towards patients and peers
- Problem solving, multi-tasking and team working skills
- BLS/CPR certified (This can be provided for you)
- DAANCE Certificate (pay raise and bonus upon completion)
