Job Title: Dental Front Desk Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our dental team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, handling patient communication, maintaining accurate records , filing dental insurance claims, payments and billing
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Greet patients, answer phone calls, and respond to messages in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate with dentists and hygienists
- Handle patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting copays and updating records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
- Manage dental insurance claims, billing, and payments
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
*Requirements:*
- 1-2 years of experience in a dental front desk or administrative role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficient in dental software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
- Availability to work flexible hours of week.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Experience with dental insurance and billing
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Certification in dental assisting or front desk administration (e.g., CDA, CPFDA)
