**Overview** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in the oral health care of our patients, providing them with exceptional treatment and care. Your expertise in general dentistry, pediatrics, and medical coding will enable you to effectively communicate with patients and medical professionals. If you are passionate about patient care and possess a strong understanding of dental terminology, we encourage you to apply. **Duties** - Assist dentists with patient exams and procedures, including dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions. - Conduct patient assessments, including oral health evaluations and medical history reviews. - Use Eaglesoft software to manage patient records and schedule appointments. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality and data security. - Utilize medical imaging and dental terminology to accurately document patient care. - Maintain a clean and organized dental environment, adhering to standard infection control protocols. - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care. - Perform procedures with precision and care, including assisting with pediatric patients. - Stay up-to-date with continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and improve skills. **Requirements** - Current dental hygiene licensure. - Strong knowledge of general dentistry and pediatric dentistry. - Experience with medical coding. - Familiarity with Eaglesoft software and ability to learn new systems. - Proficiency in dental terminology. - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality. - Excellent patient assessment and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
