Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort during visits. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient interaction skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care.
Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient record management.
Assist in the documentation of medical records and maintain accurate patient histories.
Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Conduct assessments of periodontal health and provide appropriate treatments.
Work with pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
Support dental assisting tasks as needed, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in dental terminology and medical coding is preferred.
Experience with dental systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix is advantageous.
Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in dental assisting is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $26.02 - $29.79 per hour
