Job Description
```Duties```- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain and update patient records- Manage inventory of dental supplies
```Experience```- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant- and software systems- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
We are seeking a skilled EXPERIENCED Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, be familiar with Dentrix software systems, and have a strong understanding of medical coding and billing procedures. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during dental procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking and developing dental x-rays, providing chairside assistance, educating patients on oral hygiene, maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and managing inventory.
Requirements:
Minimum ONE YEAR experience- High school diploma or equivalent- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
