Pearl32 family dentistry is a newly acquired family dental practice business in Port Washington, WI. We are looking to continue providing the necessary oral health care to the community with utmost compassion and care. We are slow paced professional, patient oriented dental practice.

The Dental Assistant performs clinical and administrative tasks that support practice operations.If need arise , the employee is willing to float for front desk duties.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
· Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.
· Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
·Take dental X-rays
·Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
· Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
· Assist with dental lab procedures, including pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
· Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order as needed
· Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
· Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety and OSHA guidelines.
·Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
· Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient in the patientâs chart.
· Greet patients upon arrival and assist in answering incoming phone calls.
· Assist in supporting patient retention by following established scheduling guidelines and protocols.
· Ensure patients have updated all necessary paperwork prior to treatment.
· Assist with on-call and reactivation patient lists to ensure openings in the practice schedule are filled.
· Assist with collecting payments from patients at the time of treatment and scheduling future patient appointments.
· Ensure that patient records are accurate and complete and that patient confidentiality is strictly maintained.
· Monitor and organize outgoing/incoming patient referrals und specialist updates.
· Dispatch lab work appropriately and check in lab cases as they arrive.
· Maintain an appropriate office environment.
· Assist with other duties as assigned.
Optional Requirements:
·Although some form of working experience in a dental clinical setting is preferred, fresh applicants without any dental setting are encouraged to apply. Appropriate training will be provided.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 â 24 per week
