Job Description
Job OverviewWe are Looking for A Motivated Person to work with us in our dental practice and receive on the job training as a Dental Assistant. You will be under the direct supervision of the Dentist and a Licensed Dental Assistant for one year and if you pass the Exams conducted by the Dental Board, you can be a Licensed Dental Assistant in one year. Should have good communication skills, Interested to work in the health care setting and help patients, willingness to learn and work as a team member.
You will be trained in the following areas:
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Maintain accurate medical records and manage patient files in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Monitor patientsâ vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to younger patients.
Utilize Dental Practice Management software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
Ensure aseptic techniques are followed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the dentist or practice manager.
Requirements
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring is beneficial.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist is an asset but not required.
Must possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Experience:
Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
