Job SummaryWe seek a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate should be professionally presentable and will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and patient management and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Take and record medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant patient information.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Be competent in Anesthesia for SRP, Arestin and other medicaments used in dental practice.
Take x Rays
Utilize dental software, Denticon, to manage patient records and appointments.
Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following aseptic techniques.
Manage pediatric patients with care and professionalism, ensuring their comfort during procedures.
Stay updated on dental terminology and best practices within the field.

Experience

Experience in a private dental office.
Familiarity with medical records management and understanding of medical terminology is advantageous.
Experience working with pediatric and adult patients.
Proficiency in using dental software system, Denticon.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
