Registered Dental Hygienist

Full-Time Permanent
$40 to $50/hr or $40/hr + Commission
Job Summary:
A growing family dental practice in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive oral hygiene care, educate patients on oral health, and collaborate with a supportive team in a patient-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient screenings, including medical history reviews, oral health assessments, and dental charting.
Perform preventive and therapeutic hygiene services such as cleanings, sealants, fluoride applications, and periodontal therapy.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care.
Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays).
Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Nebraska.
Proficiency with dental technology, including digital radiography and software (e.g., Dentrix, CBCT, iTero).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable managing a full patient schedule.
Commitment to patient education and high-quality care.
Comfortable managing a full schedule; no Saturdays required.
