Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled dental professional to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various dental procedures and technologies, ensuring high-quality patient care. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our clinic and delivering exceptional service to our patients, especially in pediatric dentistry.
Responsibilities
Perform medical imaging and assist with 3D scanning for accurate diagnostics.
Support the dentist during procedures, including endodontics and other specialized treatments.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Monitor vital signs of patients prior to and during dental procedures.
Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Assist in the reception area as needed, providing excellent customer service to patients and their families.
Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with a focus on pediatric dentistry being a plus.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment, including 3D scanners.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within the dental field.
Experience working as a dental receptionist or in administrative roles within healthcare is advantageous.
Ability to take vital signs and provide basic patient assessments prior to treatment.
