Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks within our dental practice. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar efficiently.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is complete.
Review insurance information and assist with claims processing as needed.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks for patient management.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
Perform coding for procedures and maintain health information management standards.
Assist with general office duties, including filing, data entry, and answering phones.
Skills
Proficient in dental administrative support .
Strong documentation review skills to ensure accuracy in patient records.
Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
Familiarity with office management practices within a medical setting.
Experience using Dentrix Ascend or eClinicalWorks software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of health information management principles and HIPAA compliance.
Coding experience is a plus, aiding in accurate billing processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
