Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

What youâll doâ¦
· Assess oral health conditions and review patients' health histories.
· Perform digital oral cancer screenings and radiographs (digital).
· Provide professional dental cleaning (prophylaxis) and scaling and root planning (SRP).
· Educate patients on oral hygiene practices including proper nutrition and its impact on oral health.
· Apply preventative treatments, including sealants, fluoride, and silver diamine fluoride (SDF).
· Maintain accurate and value-add dental charting and documentation.
· Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
· Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
· Maintain instruments and routine maintenance of dental equipment.
· Adhere to infection control and workplace safety standards.
· Stay current on licensure, CPR certification, and continuing education requirements.
· Support dental and medical emergencies as needed.
What youâll need to be successfulâ¦
· Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
· Current CPR certification.
· Strong understanding of infection control protocols and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
· A commitment to learning, growing, and staying updated on the latest in oral health care and research.

· Administration of local anesthesia.
· Proficiency in intra-oral scanning.
· Application of silver diamine fluoride (SDF).
· Ability to work under general supervision (without a dentist present).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
