Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care and hygiene services to our patients, ensuring their dental health is maintained at the highest level.
Responsibilities:- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Perform dental charting and take X-rays as needed- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Follow strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in Dentrix software for patient charting- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality- Experience in prosthodontics, general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or medical imaging is a plus- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
