Our dental office is actively seeking an experienced and friendly front desk person to join our team, with fluency in Spanish as a key requirement.
Responsibilities:1. Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.2. Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.3. Answer and direct incoming phone calls, addressing patient inquiries or routing them to the appropriate department.4. Verify and update patient information, including insurance details and contact information.5. Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, facilitating a smooth and organized front desk process.6. Process payments, issue receipts, and assist with financial inquiries or insurance-related matters.7. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere for patients.8. Coordinate with dental staff to manage patient flow and address any schedule changes or emergencies.9. Assist in managing patient records and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.10. Communicate effectively with patients, providing information about procedures, appointments, and post-treatment care.11. Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.12. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.13. Stay updated on office policies, procedures, and industry developments to provide accurate information to patients.14. Handle any patient concerns or complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.15. Contribute to maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications:**Fluency in Spanish:** Proficient communication in both English and Spanish to effectively interact with Spanish-speaking patients.
**Receptionist Experience:** Previous experience in a receptionist role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking skills.
**Team Collaboration:** Ability to work collaboratively with dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to ensure smooth office operations.
**Confidentiality:** Understanding and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
**PPO Insurance Knowledge:** Familiarity with processing PPO insurance claims and related paperwork.
**High School Diploma or Equivalent:** Minimum educational requirement, with additional relevant certifications or coursework considered a plus.
