We ask that you also have experience in Dentrix and a knowledge of dental insurance. We are a great team looking for our new teammate whose responsibilities and skills include:
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a friendly manner.
Use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases: working knowledge of Dentrix.
Register, verify and update new or existing patient information.
Collect and post payment at time of treatment, and verify insurance coverage.
Preparing financial arrangements for treatment.
Managing recall/treatment plan systems; filling, maintaining and updating schedules.
Responding to patient billing or financial inquiries.
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
Maintain a professional and clean reception area.
Demonstrate responsiveness and sensitivity to patient needs with urgency.
Resolve any patient dissatisfaction ethically and expeditiously, in accordance with office policies/ procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards.
Preparing claim forms for insurance.
Balance nightly deposits and complete credit card processing.
Skills:
Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations.
Ability to Work under Pressure.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, and think âout of the boxâ
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g.fax machines and printers)
