Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and promoting oral health. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Our hygienists have the EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy technology that allows the hygienist to efficiently and scientifically clean and remove all biofilm. It is like a dental spa for patients and very rewarding technology for our hygienists!
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy on patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary choices, and preventive care strategies.
Utilize dental terminology accurately while documenting patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the management of the dental clinic's systems, ensuring smooth operations and patient flow.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices, including medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively, demonstrating attention to detail.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Familiarity with medical imaging technology is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $47.58 - $49.59 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 40 per week
