OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Perform X-rays and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to younger patients.
Stay updated on dental terminology and relevant dental procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of Cerec machine usage is highly desirable.
Familiarity with X-ray equipment and procedures is essential.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
