*DENTAL RECEPTIONIST / FRONT DESK COORDINATOR*
Great opportunity for a Dental Front Desk/Treatment Coordinator.
*JOB SUMMARY:*
Professional with proven knowledge of Insurance Verifications, Dental Front Desk full cycle experience including successful Treatment Planning. The candidate must have good sales strategies, must have experience in Insurance Verifications, a very welcoming professional character, image, and must be able to be energetic, quick learner, multi-tasker and able to provide great customer service to all patients, visitors, internal staff members and doctors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage administrative duties
Eaglesoft Experience is a must
Medicare and PPO knowledge is a must
Dental front desk tasks
Organizing and helping with claims
Answers calls to include new patients and emergencies
Appointment scheduling
Requesting records
Patient follow ups
Manage unscheduled and treatment pending lists to ensure patient follow through to meet scheduling goals
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice with a positive attitude.
Energetic, positive attitude always, quick learner, takes constructive criticism well without getting defensive.
Excellent experience with Customer Service is required.
Fully bilingual is required (English/Spanish) with verbal, written, and strong communication fluency and accuracy.
Previous experience in handling all Dental Front Desk duties in General and Specialty Dental Office.
Experience with Eaglesoft software is required.
Experience with Dental Insurance (PPO, Medicare), and verifications breakdowns.
Answer all incoming calls with proper screening techniques and assistance.
Scheduling patients, follow-ups, re-calls, or canceling appointments with strategy and consistency, always making sure that the day is productive.
Able to multitask while maintaining an organized work area.
Must be able to work quickly and ALWAYS check for accuracy before finalizing tasks.
Maintain and manage all patient records in compliance to HIPAA standards and regulations.
Assist patients to fill out information forms accurately, verifying & updating all information into the system.
Collect and receive patient payments correctly at time of treatment.
Follow all office protocols, policies and procedures correctly and consistently.
Use initiative, able to complete all tasks without being told what to do.
Use proper judgement and be able to make Front Desk decisions while communicating with management.
Must always communicate clearly with all staff members and work in a team environment.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of dental coding is a must
Knowledge with insurance plans
Must have experience with customer service and multi-line phones
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other team members
Must be familiar with Dental Terminology
Basic typing and keyboarding skills.
Proficient with computers and other office equipment.
Electronic Dental Record Knowledge - Eaglesoft
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
Maintain calm and positive attitude in stressful situations. Have the ability to respond to changing workload and work environment
Must be a team player and work in order to accomplish common goals in the department
Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Must have the ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
Ability to complete work tasks in timely manner.
Ability to keep accurate records and prepare reports.
Ability to accept accountability for actions daily by utilization of self-evaluation, patient evaluations, and supervisor evaluations to modify job performance.
Must maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with clinic policy and HIPPA guidelines.
Bilingual Spanish/English or Creole/English
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED.
Dental Assistant Certification
Dental Office Terminology Experience
Fully bilingual English/Spanish or Creole/English and able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Minimum One Year Dental Office Experience.
Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
Customer service and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and professional demeanor
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate with a team
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
