OverviewPrivate practice in Fair Oaks looking for a self-starter with excellent work ethic to be our front office administrator. After 25 years, our office manager has decided to retire and so we are looking for a kind and caring people person to carry on the torch. Our office has been serving our patients for more than 40 years with core values and individualized patient care. We strive to uphold a high standard of professional service while still maintaining traditional values.
Our ideal candidate would have 5+ years of dental experience and have experience in Dentrix or similar. You must have strong communicative skills, proficiency in treatment planning and case presentation as well as extensive experience with dental insurance plans.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dental office staff, including receptionists, dental hygienists, and assistants.
Ensure efficient scheduling of patient appointments and manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
Oversee billing processes, insurance claims, and financial management to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards to protect patient confidentiality.
Implement policies and procedures for office operations, ensuring adherence to best practices in medical administrative support.
Collaborate with dental professionals to improve clinic operations and enhance patient satisfaction.
Skills
Proven experience in dental office management or a similar role within a dental setting.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
Ability to lead a team while fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth.
