Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the dental records system- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments from patients- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
-Presenting treatment plans- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Requirements:- Previous experience in a dental office or dental care setting preferred- Proficient in dental terminology and understanding of dental office procedures- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Familiarity with electronic dental records systems, such as Denticon , is a plus- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
