Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general and pediatric dentistry, with the ability to provide comprehensive patient care in a friendly and professional environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health status.
Perform a range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and oral surgeries.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during all dental procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient using Eaglesoft or similar software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall dental health.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and incorporate best practices into patient care.
Experience
Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on pediatric dentistry preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and techniques including dental extractions and oral surgery.
Familiarity with medical records management and software systems like Eaglesoft is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
