Job Description

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled TN Registered Dental Assistant with radiology certification to join our team. CPR requirements needed but can be provided. Pay is determined by experience. Days needed: Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Surgical experience preferred, but will train the right candidate on site. Dental implant focused practice with rewarding full mouth restoration cases. Continuing Education courses paid, including tuition, travel costs, and meals. Great office and team.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials.
Assist the doctor during long and complex surgeries, ensuring seamless support throughout the procedures.
Anticipate the doctor’s needs to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during procedures, with knowledge of 4-handed dentistry being a valuable asset.
Manage patient records, ensuring that all medical records are accurately maintained and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients to ensure their safety during procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnostics as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental practice setting is preferred.
Knowledge of medical records management.
Experience preferred but open to training in X-rays, CBCT scans, dental records, and digital scanning.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
Ability to adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
TN Registered Dental Assistant with radiology certification. CPR certification preferred but not mandatory and can be provided to the right candidate.
