Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our small, laid back, one doctor, private dental office. The position will be part time 2 days per week with the possibility of more days in the future. One of the days must be a Monday and the other day is the candidates choice from Tuesday-Thursday. The office is closed on Fridays. We are a small office looking for the right individual to join our team. We work together as a team and help each other as needed.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Apply knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the dental clinic.
ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
Proficiency in using dental software (Open dental) is preferred.
At least one year experience is preferred but not required
Must be Registered Dental Hygienist in South Carolina
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant can be beneficial but is not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $38.00 - $41.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
