Who Weâre Looking For: Weâre looking for a strong team player with a customer service background and/or skill set. Being detail-oriented, organized, friendly, adaptable, and outgoing are all key qualities needed to succeed as a Patient Coordinator. What our office manager does: The Patient Coordinator is the first point of contact for new and existing patients, welcoming them into our practice, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, while performing day-to-day administrative duties. * Scheduling patients via phone and online inquiry * obtain FLDs from our centralized Insurance Department and input fee schedules * Ensuring patients have received a hard copy of their treatment plan * Collecting payment from patients * Provide consistent, exceptional service to all patients * Assist in general office and administrative tasks Qualifications * Experience in providing exceptional customer service and/or patient care * Coachable, with a willingness to learn, and adapt to different systems * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and collected * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficient computer skills; the ability to learn software used in office, as well use all Microsoft Office. We are looking to hire a personable Dental Receptionist to ensure that dental patientsâ appointments are appropriately scheduled, rescheduled, or canceled, depending on the needs of the patients. The Dental Receptionistâs responsibilities include entering patient information onto our data system, answering patientsâ questions, working with insurance carriers to find patient copays, gather financial agreements for treatment plans, and be able to prepare billing statements. Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing and faxing. We are a busy office so being comfortable working fast-paced is a must!
Experience in patient treatment coordination and confidence in going over financial agreements with patients is required. As is experience filing insurance, following up on claims, payments, and pre-authorizations.
Dental Receptionist Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Some experience working in a dental office. Sound knowledge of dental terminology. Working knowledge of general administrative practices. Good telephone etiquette. Exceptional organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills. 3+ years of dental front desk experienceâ
Responsibilities
MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE. ( WE WILL HAVE WORK INTERVIEW)
Knowledge of dental insurances.
Being On time ( Monday- Friday) 7:45 Am. ******
KNOWLEDGE OF EAGL SOFT IS A MUST.
Serve as the point person for front desk assistant duties including dental insurance, mailing, supplies, bills, errands
Schedule patient appointments and post insurances on the software
Manage schedules.
KNOW HOW TO VERIFY INSURANCE AND MAKE A TREATMENT PLAN FOR LIMITED SAME-DAY PATIENTS.
HOW TO KNOW TO CHECK MAXIMUM BENEFITS
Submit preautherization to Vynne
Following up on Pre-Authorization once submitted TO BUILD SCHEDULE.
Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time
Provide schedule support to patients and treatment planning
Enter EOBS.
Uploading EOBs info into the practice management software
Answer phone
***Collect patient balance ***
Insurance portion patient portion.
Verify ins/put new pt info in chart and ins info
Keep schedule full
Inform patient if they have balance and follow up.
Knowledge of Invisalign orthodontic treatment patients. (HOW TO CHECK ORTHODONTIC BENEFITS)
Present treatment plan and explain specially same-day procedure LOE patients.
CO pay collection
All consent forms and new pt paperwork Filled out
Insurance verification (this includes verifying any new Ins, and checking the current plan every 6 months minimum.
Treatment plan presentation and answer all patient questions to prevent any confusion.
Scan preAuth to Vyne (attach correct X-ray and narrative)
