Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while performing a variety of dental hygiene procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both patients and the dental team.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Document patient medical records accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
Take and record vital signs as necessary during patient visits.
Assist in educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dentists in providing comprehensive care, including general dentistry and pediatric dentistry services.
Operate dental systems such as Eaglesoft for scheduling and patient management.
Support the dental team with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Skills
Strong patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education.
Proficiency in aseptic techniques to ensure safety during procedures.
Experience or knowledge in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with dental systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is an advantage.
Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation practices.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry principles.
Competence in taking vital signs and assisting in various dental procedures.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 â 32 per week
