Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take and develop dental x-rays- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and protocols- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental prosthetics- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care- Familiarity with medical coding systems for billing purposes- Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment- Experience using Eaglesoft dental software for patient management and scheduling- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
