FULL-TIME DENTAL ASSISTANT WANTED FOR GENERAL DENTAL PRACTICE
******EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL *******
Busy family dental practice located in Scott Township bordering Greentree & Mt. Lebanon looking for an experienced dental assistant 4 days a week (Monday thru Thursday, 7:00am â 5:20pm). Must be X-ray certified. Must be able to assist dentist chairside, take impressions and pour models. Computer knowledge is necessary - Dentrix software experience is a plus. Previous dental experience is a must, as well as a great attitude and a strong work ethic . Please email your resume w/ 3 references.
Required duties include:
Taking dental x-rays
Preparing and sterilizing instruments, handpieces and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and CDC guidelines
Sending and monitoring lab cases
Following up with patients after treatment and providing relevant instructions
Providing patient education and nutritional counseling to maintain oral health
Monitoring inventory and ordering dental supplies
Various office tasks as directed by the dentist or office manager
Education and Experience Requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of accredited dental assisting program
Compliance with state dental practice requirements, such as x-ray requirements and OSHA
Computer skills
Dental assisting experience necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
