Dental Office Front Desk and Treatment Coordinator - Friday is a must
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Dental Office Front Desk and Treatment Coordinator. The ideal candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a dental office setting. Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix and eClinicalWorks is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
Manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries with efficiency and courtesy.
Verify patient insurance coverage, ensuring accurate information collection for billing purposes.
Maintain meticulous patient records, adhering to the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Assist with billing and coding processes as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.
Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists, facilitating seamless patient care.
Uphold HIPAA guidelines to safeguard patient confidentiality and privacy.
Oversee office supplies, ensuring an organized and tidy reception area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a dental office setting is mandatory.
Proficiency in using dental software, specifically Dentrix and eClinicalWorks.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.
Strong organizational abilities and acute attention to detail.
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, contributing to overall office efficiency.
