We are looking for an experienced and certified dental assistant to provide support to our dentist, and high-quality dental care to our patients. Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practicing experience, is an EFDA, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills. Responsibilities:
Measure and document vital signs and update the medical history for patients
Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
Provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patientsâ teeth and gums after procedures, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and schedule appointments for patient care follow up
Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
Qualifications:
Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required
Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is needed
