Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both patients and staff.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Ensure all dental instruments are properly sterilized and maintained according to infection control protocols.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans in Dentrix or similar systems.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
Support patients with a friendly approach to ensure their comfort during visits.
Requirements
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but we are willing to train the right person
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.58 - $22.69 per hour
