SG Dentistry is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/EFDA to join our team at our Hanover office, with occasional support at our Smile Galore location in York, PA.

Duties
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including endodontics and general dentistry tasks.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
Take and develop X-rays as required.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with medical and dental terminology.
Ensure that the treatment area is clean, organized, and ready for patient care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with patient flow within the clinic.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and medical documentation is advantageous.
Experience with managing medical records in a clinical setting is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
