Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice.
Opportunity for full time. Monday/Tuesday 9-8:30, Thursday 7:30-6, one Saturday a month 7:30-2.
About us, we are a small 1 Dr. office, we take pride in providing quality dentistry to our patients. We provide multiple services to our patients including endodontics, oral surgery, implants, Botox, microneedling, lip fillers, and orthodontics.
We maintain a very relaxed and fun environment while deliver quality dentistry to our patients treating all as if they are our family members.
Office features include digital x-rays, digital scanner, CBCT, CEREC same day crowns. Software used SoftDent and Dexis.
Duties Include
Maintaining /stocking operatories
Tracking outgoing/incoming lab work
Provide oral hygiene instructions and post op care instructions after procedures
Tracking upcoming treatment/surgeries scheduled

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take X-rays and perform medical imaging as needed, including utilizing 3D scanners.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling, including coordinating with the dental receptionist for patient flow.
Ensure that the dental office is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures, including pediatric dentistry practices.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in taking X-rays and familiarity with medical imaging techniques.
Knowledge of Softdent/Dexis software or similar dental management systems is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.42 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
