Job Description

Due to one of our dental hygienists relocating, we are looking for a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. If you are passionate about patient care and would like to work in a warm and welcoming environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

Thoroughly conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, perform oral examinations, properly assess periodontal conditions and collect appropriate data to report to the dentists
Educate patients on their current oral health and provide patients with oral hygiene practices to allow for optimal oral health
Adhere to the standard of care and provide professional preventative cleanings and periodontal therapy as needed. Apply fluoride treatments and sealants.
Create and maintain dental charts, records and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations ensuring all patient information is confidential and secure (EagleSoft software)
Practice and maintain proper infection control procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid license
Previous experience as a dental hygienist is preferred but not required
Strong understanding of medical and dental terminology
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills as well as interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in dental hygiene practices
A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent patient care
